Pass Percentage Expectations

In 2024, Class 10 achieved a pass percentage of 93.60%, and Class 12 recorded 87.98%, with girls outperforming boys. For 2025, Class 10 is expected to surpass 93%, and Class 12 may reach around 88%, driven by moderate question papers and lenient evaluations. Students need 33% per subject (including internal assessments) to pass, with 1–2 grace marks for borderline cases. The exams covered 84 subjects for Class 10 and 120 for Class 12 across 7,842 centers.

No Official Toppers List

CBSE will not publish a toppers list for 2025, continuing its policy since 2022 to reduce academic stress, as seen in posts on X. The top 0.1% of students per subject will receive merit certificates. Last year, over 47,983 Class 10 students scored above 95%, and similar high performances are anticipated. Unofficial topper details may emerge on external platforms, but no specific names are confirmed yet.
